The Halifax Harbourwalk is a 3km boardwalk running along the waterfront, a popular place to visit for locals and tourists, lined with local boutiques, and brought to life by lively buskers. Public Squares also dot the cityscape, home to festivals, and events, including the International Busker Festival which takes place in August each year. Summer brings in festival after festival as the city fills with visitors looking to escape the fast-paced city life and enjoy the fresh, maritime air.
