Things to do in Timmins

Timmins is located on the traditional and territorial lands of the Cree, Oji-Cree, Ojibway and Algonquin homelands; and northern Ontario is not short on outdoor activities. In the summertime you’ll see hiking, fishing and golfing – in the wintertime you’ll frequently see snowmobiles exploring throughout the nearby forests and lakes. The McIntrye Mine headframe is an iconic Timmins landmark, a reminder of its history and a frequent backdrop for photographers.
